  Dr. Yang is presently Vice Director of Pharmacy Department in Beijing Hospital, Ministry of Health, Beijing China. She completed her Pharmacy studyin China in 1986 and obtained her PhD in 2009 from the School of Health Sciences, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. Since 2003, Dr. Yang has served as an Clinical Pharmacist, Senior Clinical Pharmacist, Associate Professor and Professor for the Pharmacy Department, Beijing Hospital (China). Dr. Yang’s major interests are pharmacogenomics, drug-drug interaction, evidence-based medicine, Chinese Medicine and rational drug use in clinical setting.

  

  Dr. Yang is one of the pioneerto implementpersonalized medicinethrough drug gene-targeting report system at hospital in China. She has published more than  60 papers in various pharmacology, evidence-based medicine and  pharmacy journals including Xenobiotica , Journalof Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutic and Chines Journal of Evidence-based Medicine. She has published more than 6 books and Book chapters and more than 10 conference oral presentation. Dr. Yang has given more than 30 invited seminars/keynote presentations to a variety of hospital, government agencies and international conferences.

  

  To date, she has trained 1 PhD student, 3 MSc students, 6 pharmacistsin hospital training base and 25 visiting pharmacists. Dr Yang serves as an Editor for 3 pharmacy journals, including Chinese PharmaceuticalJournal, China Journal of Hospital Pharmacy,Bulletin of Hospital Pharmacy (Beijing Hospital).

  

  Dr. Yang  is in charge of hospital training base for clinical pharmacist inanti-infection area. She is also a committee member in 1) The Chinese Medical Association, Beijing branchof Clinical Pharmacy;2) The Chinese Medical Association, Brach of Respiratory;  3) The Chinese Pharmacological Association,Branch of Pharmacogenomics;4) The  Association of Chinese Health Promotion, Branch of PersonalizedMedicine (as a vice secretary), 5) The Chinese Health Promotion, Banch ofClinical Medication Safety (as a secretary).

  

  In addition, Dr. Yang has systematicallylearnedChinese Medicine followingtwonationalmasters. So far, she has well known the theory of Chinese Medicine and can conduct precision diagnosis through feeling pulsation. She  has helped more than hundred patients  surviving with traditional herbalmedicines when the regimen of chemical medicines failed to work their problem out.
